**Project Summary**

For our artificial general intelligence scenario, we're planning to create a prototype of the user interface and marketing campaign around the "Gaia" app. As we illustrated in the scenario, The AGI named Gaia is a disembodied program that runs as an app on a laptop, smartphone, smartwatch, AR glasses and any smart device. Gaia's app enables humans to interact with her via text, voice, and/or visual gestures. Gaia's voice is synthesized via Treetop's state-of-the-art AmpLeaf engine, which virtually simulates the human larynx and mouth to produce the widest range of human noises ever.

WHY

The industry of AI interactions I increasing every day, and as a team, we designed GAIA that will empathetically connect with the user. The currently available options of smart personal assistants like Siri and Alexa do not connect
empathetically to the users.

With the growing day and age, we can see that people need empathy daily through various means. An intelligent personal assistant will help the user finish tasks and, at the same time, be a good friend.

WHAT

The marketing campaign is focused on the app launch. The poster and the video can be used as a part of the campaign, which will encourage
users to use GAIA.

The poster and video draw attention to the feeling that GAIA possesses with the hearts in the poster and the robot arm touching the
human arm.

HOW

We designed the GAIA app with personalized features and it will give the feeling of a friend. The AGI of the app can be set up either manually or automatically, and this will provide a more personalized setup process of GAIA.

GAIA has an autonomous auto-reply mode that the user can enable or disable depending on how much the user trusts the AGI. In this app, the user is given options on how much emotional support one need from the app and, in return, gives to the app. The first success of GAIA being empathetic will be because people feel vicariously happy when they’re able to make others happy.

Research

We ended up taking a straight forward angle that turned into an intricate design. We chose the topic of AI because it is so present in everyday use. If the full product was distributed I feel that a lot of users would it useful. We created the concept of a future style AI but also the style and aesthetic is something that would draw people in to use the product.

Our project began with basic research about Arti{cial Intelligence and we focused on 4 main parts. This was the base that started our project
ideas.

Emotionally Intelligent Voice

Emotionally intelligent voice is the precedence of computers understanding more than the literal meaning of its users’ words. The importance of emotionally intelligent voice AI lies in its primary purpose; to understand and simulate human beings. Throughout the development of personal computers, organizations have been trying to connect humans and machines as intuitively as possible.

Law Enforcement

AI is important with law enforcement because as the world continues to develop in technology it's important that law enforcement keeps up. There have been many benefits found with AI in addressing dixerent types of crime. Drones with sensors can be used to detect illegal movements. Location technology contributes to AI information systems in improving law enforcement. AI and robotics also help to examine police cases, which shows lots of potential towards a future with AI.

AI in Hospitalization

The concept of Humanizing AI in the hospitality industry is highly debatable because of the pros and cons it carries. The signficant advantages are that the guests will be served without time restrictions, and Hotel Management will be able to cut down a big chunk of money spent on labour. The accuracy and consistency the automated robots provide cannot match with humans.

Games and Entertainment

In the future, "Game in Humanizing AI” will gradually appear in entertainment, especially in gaming. People may experience dixerent AI game mechanisms in more games. Humanizing AI has so many functions that it has its presence in various industries. For example, Humanizing AI for people's living emotions, Humanizing AI to help the medical industry progress, and Humanizing AI to maintain social stability and harmony.
